Fieldwork Update

During the second half of the summer field season we continued our regional scale stream sediment sampling programme across the Southern Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire option agreements. This work, combined with a soil sampling programme completed earlier in the summer, in an area 7 km south-west of the Dolaucothi mine means that with the help of Cardiff University placement students 97 stream sediment samples, 518 soil samples and 25 rock chips have been collected over the full course of the summer field season. All samples are currently awaiting analysis at ALS Laboratories.

SHG attends UK Mining Conference

On September 13th and 14th we attended the UK Mining Conference held in Falmouth where Managing Director, Mike Armitage, presented ‘The Sarn Helen Gold Story – What have the Romans ever done for us?’. The presentation generated a lot of interest and we also had a lot of visitors to our stand inclusive of current and potential future investors, equipment providers and fellow explorers.
